Midi-Baccarat is really quite simple to play in that there are only three possible choices for your wager - Bank, Player and an option to bet the tie. The wagers made by many baccarat players are very large, heightening the
suspense of each turn of the cards.

Rules
Midi-Baccarat is played with eight complete decks of cards. All bets are made prior to the cards coming out of the "shoe."

The game is played by set rules outlined below. There is no option in the game on drawing or standing.

The object of the game is to come as close as possible to the number nine, face cards and tens, or any combination of cards totaling ten, count nothing. The last digit of the card total determines the hand value. For instance, 9 and 9 total 18; therefore the hand value is 8. The Ace is counted as one; the deuce is two, etc.

There is a 5% commission on all money won by the banker. The words "Banker" and "Player" are only terms to distinguish the two options for your bet.
