Biloxi, Miss. (Feb. 21) – Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster online or the IP Casino box office for the inaugural Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic at Fallen Oak. The new PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour event is set for April 28 - May 2.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see your favorite golfers. Tickets are priced at just $15 each and they can be used any day of the tournament. Children age 15 and under will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult. A limited number of volunteer opportunities are still available as well, and volunteers are entitled to complimentary admission during the tournament when they are not working.
The Classic is one of 26 official events on the Champions Tour for 2010, and favorites Lee Trevino, Hal Sutton, Loren Roberts, Bernhard Langer, Tom Kite, Hale Irwin, Jay Haas and Fred Funk are already committed to play for the $1.6 million purse and a $240,000 winner’s share.
The field of 78 players will play three competitive rounds from Friday through Sunday. The popular pro-am tournaments will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
